Dr. Ron Crum is the Global Pastor of Griffin First Assembly in Griffin, Georgia.

With his rich background and unwavering commitment to leadership excellence, Dr. Ron brings a wealth of experience to his role as a pastor, author, and international speaker. As the ninth child and son of a southern West Virginia coal miner, he embodies the values of hard work, resilience, and a deep appreciation for family.

Dr. Ron’s academic journey has taken him through esteemed institutions, earning degrees from Southeastern University, Marshall University, and Evangel University. His dedication to leadership development is underscored by his doctoral work at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, where he authored a groundbreaking thesis on Leadership Styles, Decision-making Styles, and Selected Influences on Decision-making.

For over forty years, Dr. Ron has immersed himself in the study of leadership, impacting individuals across various sectors, including business, education, and non-profits. In 2013, he founded a leadership coaching and consulting practice, becoming a certified facilitator of The Leadership Challenge Workshop.

Beyond the borders of the United States, Dr. Ron has left an indelible mark, sharing his insights on leadership in African countries such as Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and South Africa, as well as in Armenia, Sweden, Turkey, and Burundi in Eastern Europe. His profound love for the Church has driven his passion for the Church Life model, a wineskin for a healthy, New Testament church, and in 2022, he played a pivotal role in launching the Church Life Missional Model to the international church community.

Family holds a special place in Dr. Ron's heart, and he and his wife Phyllis are blessed with two daughters, Lyndsi and Whitney, and five precious grandchildren – Roxi Jay, Ronnie Solomon Jay, Siri, Greta, and Torsten Jay. To his grandchildren, he holds the esteemed title of "Poppa Jay."
